2020年春节前，我和美国好基友Daniel一起录制了6首Old Time小曲子，灌录定名为《Kicking Up The Devil On A Holiday》的EP。录音属于“一遍过”的那种，一架主麦外加两支Overhead话筒，最多不超过三轨，玩得就是现场感，自然粗糙原生态，追求Old Time的感觉——当然啦，演奏上免不了有些小瑕疵。其间，我弹班卓琴，Daniel弹曼陀铃，在EP同名曲中他还演奏了小提琴和哨笛。
时间有限，仅求快乐，只录了这几首，简单做了一些混音调整，希望各位喜欢。
《Angeline The Baker》
《Angeline The Baker》，有时也写作《Angelina The Baker》，年代比较久远，是美国流行音乐鼻祖Stephen Foster的作品，于1850年出版发行。最早的歌词版本是关于一位被卖的黑人女奴的悲歌。
它的现代小提琴演奏版旋律和Foster版已经大相径庭，歌词也有改动。不过不论Old Time还是Bluegrass风格，其结构旋律基本已经定型趋同。在Old Time风格中，这首曲子的定弦法是Double C，也就是gCGCD，和小提琴、曼陀铃玩合奏时则需要在2品夹变调夹，变成aDADE。
总之，这是一首抓奏风格班卓琴必弹曲目。
